Mike

Thanx for your understanding and the rest of you guys as well.
Mike I shall endeavour to explain what you said to the crew and calm concerns they may have as I also wish to keep kiting and I am bound to get some flak from them when I see them.
If I see you again up here I will come over and introduce myself and apologise in person to you and the others if they too are here.

Ta Mate!

I hate say it but i agree with milosh... Fats made a mistake and may have written that post in a rush of blood, im an allrounder(surf and kite) and you must be blind if you have not realised that shifts begun a couple years back.
True locals are the young groms who surf everyday at there local are friendly and dont have it printed on their forehead that they are locals. Plus they dont have an attitude problem ie FAts, but it is good to see fats making peace, because isnt the reason we do these sports for fun and enjoyment.

please be offshore tomorrow
please be onshore tomorrow

What you kite crew fail to realise,is there nothing worse than some one hovering around down wind in the line up thinking your doing the right thing. Cutting back hand right at ya when you want to take off,
looken to see if you can snake a wave or two.
If you carnt go right out the back and get your own wave dont hang on the inside stuffen it for all.
I want clean walls and visual bliss, and your continualed short runs in and out put you in the face of all.

HOW MANY SET WAVES DID YOU LET GOT THROUGH TO THE SURFERS WHILST YOU WERE 1KM OFFSHORE, I DOUBT MANY?

Hi King,

Kiters don't need to go kilometres offshore like poleys do.
Kiteboards point like fucn beagles and it's easy to get back to the take-off zone on shortish tacks.

Short tacks don't necessarily mean snakes.
It just means getting from A to B and upwind of the pack is quick.
But it goes without saying that in doing so (short tack stuff),
keeping clear of all waveriders is paramount and No.1 rule in wavesailing.

So in conclusion, I guess that means kiters get more waves per session.
Sorry.

Kind Regards,
slave.

I really think that kites should stay well away from everybody !
Especially surfers.

Why would you want to cut through the line up ?
Its really annoying to the surfers sitting there,to have someone buzz them at speed.

Lets remember that the day in question was 30kn onshore, and crap waves become crapper in 30kn, and being surfers themselves, the guys in question wouldnt have taken any waves from anyone.
Were there even any waves this day???

there are two sides to every story . lets just say no abuse came from the kiters until we were told on the beach that "if you dont F*2k off then you will be carried out of here in an ambulance" what do you expect us to say. anyway you apologised and it is accepted so lets let it slide. oh yeah 15m 06 fuel has heaps depower

I dont no about more waves? but your right either you carnt be bothered linning up and being the last to gybe out the back and taking the set waves or you carn,t stay on them ? so your aways on the inside riding the poxie in between sets,
often crew will find kiters inside strings and all when your on DA set wave ALSO they love looken at ya as if to say 'im readY to gybe,at anytime to take the end poxie section.'

Its all good y just got, here it from the dark side.
Kiters are lucky they got ,good crew doing the RIGHT thing in Gero
