Hey Stfubbq, sorry mate, it was just way too windy to set up the barby anywhere, we have tried before on days like this and everything gets coated in flying sand, and its cold as soon as it leaves the hotplate, if we can actually keep the barby alight!!
Next time.
@Wdric and User
It was the 11M Ozone Edge, it was slightly too big for the day, and the rider (Grant) will agree to that I'm sure. It was a combo of penduluming under the kite from a jump gone bad, and a run in tide. It was not terminal, we retreived the kite and its fine, and I would say a more experienced rider with that kite would have relaunched it.
Overall it was an excellent day, very windy, over 30 knots and constantly between 25 and 30 for most of the day, with an opposing tide!
Standout kites were the 9M Cult, 11M Edge, 10 and 8M Cab SB3's, Slingshot Revs in 7 and 9M (biggest jump by Lee Kav, at least 40+ feet)and Flexi Ion2 (not my kite 8.5? or 6?).
The new quad concave Cab Custom 1.33 handled the chop better than anything according to those that rode it.
Thanks to everyone who came along and to all those that helped me out over the course of the day, I sure was kept busy, I must have landed and launched kites at least 60-70 times!!!

Goodwinds
