Hi over in the UK for the next few months and I know Ive seen posts on here from UK kiters.... OK so where and when are you guys flying???
Heading up the East coast of England over the next couple of weeks (from 24/8 to around 6/9) in search of Kiters and live music.... I didn't bring my kiting gear with me but need to at least catch a session or 10!!!

Cheers

In general better to stick to West Coast as prevailing winds are S.Easterly. For the East Coast you could try Southend East Beach, Hunstanton in Norfolk, couple of places in Teeside, nothing much north of Newcastle (nice beaches but mostly off shore winds and cold water) Budle Bay in Northumberland is quite flat water but tidal. Really try to get to the other coast, I'm sure someone will disagree and know of perfect places, but there are a lot more options in the West.

Southend is good and always someone there if its windy, in west-east wind try uncle toms beach, head along beach road with sea on your right and away from pier heading towards east ,past thorpe bay sailing club on left, then road bends to left sharply, here turn right into dead end road only 100m long, thats uncle toms, sailable 3hrs after high tide, or follow road round to east beach, sw-ne, 1hr after high tide waist deep for almost 3kms x 2kms. Trouble is with no kit you may find it hard to borrow someones, At either place get a ticket to park cos the car park attendants are ex ss officers. Lots of other places on east coast but without kit your gonna stuggle. ive got 2 boards and a smaller kite you could use, I will pm you my mobile no, give me a call and I will sort something out. Dont forget you wetsuit, Ive got a size 10uk summer suit you could use, not mine the wifes or same in winter steamer, this is the UK its summer here now HAHA, its 18c and has been pi**** down for all of August, so you will need one.
