Hit this link(I hope it works) for the story in the northern star about some local kiters saving a few lives last sunday at Lennox Head. Some positive coverage for kiters. The fellow rescued ended up in hospital and one of the boys said when he spewed up he was full of cornflake weed!

Col,
Usually just kite at our local beach, haven't been down to Evans for ages, haven't kited there. but I reckon it would be good, big open beaches and same wind as here.

Thanks, Ive got relo's at Evans who I haven't seen for ages. Was thinking about a holiday and now that ive been kiting for a while I thought I might tackle some of the northern water. Airforce beach is a pretty big stretch and I thought Chinaman's might be OK as well.

Is there anyone else out there who would like to tender an opinion about Evans Head please.
