Going to Broome from August 16 to 19th. Can anyone from there or who has been to Broome around that time in the past let me know what the wind is like? Are there any good spots that you can recommend, preferably waves
I was up there about 3 weeks ago now and spent most of my time kite-groundboarding on Cable beach. All the decent wind was offshore ~10-15 knots. I was thinking that perhaps the other side would be ok, but from what i saw there was a heap of weeds/junk to wade through before you could get to clear water.
Thanks koma, doesn't sound too great. Was the wind blowing offshore or sideshore? I'm guessing that there could be some nasties in the weed/ junk that would want to take a bite out of any errant kitesurfers too .
