When i was up there last year october most of the guys went out in front of the casuarina surf club or the end of lee point rd watch the croc;s or the tighter sharks i didnt see any
they closed the beaches a couple of times while i was up there
The place i didnt go kiting was conway beach, conway river before you get to airlie beach whitsundays very[ spookie]

Lee point is the place to be atm.
The Surf club at Casuarina Beach and Nightcliff forshore near rapid creek inlet are other places when the wind changes.
