hey has anyone been kitesurfing in Gracetown i was there the other day but sadly no gear, it looked alirght there in the bay with fairly flat water and a few waves out the back has anone kitesurfed there before, is it any good worth the trip from bunbury ?
Mate you would have serious wind disturbance unless the wind is coming from onshore direction to the bay. Then it would no longer be flat and that direction wouldn't be good for the waves either.[}:)] Others may think different but that's IMOP.
Mate, I lived in gracetown and like the other guy said, serious gusts with the 2 headlands on either side, of course onshore maybe the only bet. I would'nt kite too close to hussey's as the reef is shallow and you might end up using your legs as a grater. not many spots to launch. Dangerous...
