go to WSP Auckland, on the north side of the harbour, and talk to Jamie Barrow, he will gladly point you in the right direction, there is heaps of great kiting in Auckland, shoal bay is smack in the center beside the bridge, bit gusty but super flat, there are more waves within an hours drive than you can poke a stick at. have fun this is the best time of year over there.
