Are the winds still good in the Summer months?
Would you get hasseled by the windsurfers even if you kept your distance?
What size kites do you think for summer?
To me it looks like the pefect place to Boost huge long lofty jumps!,

It's good but tide dependant and the sea grass has razor clams which have claimed a few.
Launch is also tricky - this place is not recommended for learners or the in experienced.
As it has a very deep channel nearby it is also a a bit of a sharky spot and you often see the odd fin and big shadow!

Hey Luke...
Where do you kite at Bribie in a Westerly? I'm from further up the coast and don't get down to the Caloundra area much.

Sandy point, Victoria, australia.
For Kiting? sweeeeeeeeeet
Give windsurfers some respect and all is well. they are usually at speed so give them some room.
Don't launch or land in carpark. not so much a rule as a keep the public safe and appear responsible thing. anyway just the other side of dunes is a vast expance of soft sand.
We run week long clinics in Dec. and Feb. and now maybe Nov.
all meals, accom, use of our gear included. $130/day.
You can set up on surf beach and down the line wave ride a few K and walk over to inlet(kite in air) for a flat water session.
in summer you have to be unlucky to not use a 13m or smaller kite 2 days in 7. A 17m+ may get you some morning sessions.
last christmas we had a few of the days in mid 30's kts.
most days with any wind usually are 20kt days.
