I am no doctor, and not experienced anything similar but some things
to try and think about etc... which may help you or someone else
diagnose the problem. :-)

Possibbly not, cutting off circulation will cause pins and needles in
your legs and they will feel numb. Circulation will return as soon as
the harness is removed. When you do this the most likely effect would
be you may feel a bit dizzy for a few seconds, rather like when you
get up from sitting down to quick and feel very lightheaded. (a
change in Blood pressure)
- Maybe try a waist harness ?

Possibly, I have had long kite flying sessions (#hrs), which have
resulted in a stiff neck.
Have you had any serious/ bad falls before this started happening
(mild concussion etc...?)
Any other locals experience anything similar?
Do you get same symtoms at a different beach ?
Does this happen only when you kitesurf or after you have just been
surfing too ?
saltwater aspiration ? (Breathing in loads of salt water spray can
give flu-like symtoms)
Jellyfish larvae ? (reaction often after 4-24 hours after exposure)
Do you get same symtoms wWith or without a wetsuit ?
Is your wet suit new since the start of the symtoms ?
Neoprene Allergy - Are you allergic to the wetsuit you are wearing ?
A contact allergy to diethylthiourea in a wet suit ?
