Well I am going on holiday to Port Stephens (more precisely Fingal Bay) just for a week...

Finally got my kite (brand new slingshot turbo 2 14m) and my brand new board too; slingshot SX 147. Must say I have spoilt myself and now owe my parents close to 3k haha, but I literally have only slept 3 or so hours for the past two nights coz I am so excited thinking bowt the next kiting session . I also went out on north narrabeen today, helped by the guys from balmoral boards , and decided to pack it in just b4 that monstrous storm... I had the magenta(pink... but not really pink) kite. Wind was a bit light tho, but at least I learnt how to rig my new baby up etc :D, even so, it gave me a bit of a drag down the beach coz I had to keep doing loops to keep it up in the air hehe .. my hands r all blistered now, shoulda used my harness damnit lolz. BACK ON TOPIC....

So yes, my question is, where is the best place to kite around fingal bay? Particularly if you're a noob such as myself. I know the Anna bay and stockton area, but just wondering what are the best wind directions and what kindof wind do you generally get up there at this time of year, hoping not consistently 25knts+, seeing as my big 14m will drag we everywhere hehe.
