G'day Guys and Gals,

Heading to Adelaide next week for work and I'm thinking about taking my gear. Are you guys getting any wind?

Thanks

Hey snoopy,
if you get in early enough on Sunday I think there's a change that might produce some ok circa 16k cross-on winds on metro beaches. Monday might have some good follow up winds but it looks like heating up and that could be faint offshores.
Could also luck some good seabreezes though if it doesn't get too hot.
Currently we're sweltering at circa 40C.
There's heaps of places that work on a range of winds but need wheels and time (most within about an hour of Adelaide).
If you're working then it's after work (I imagine) and that might limit you to metro beaches. This can be frustrating as you can get there, at say 6pm, and wind fizzles.
There's also restrictions on some metro beaches with the need for discs and soon pfds.
Keep on eye on BOM-SA for weather and check SAKSA website for more local info and Onboard Surf Wind Snow at Glenelg website.
Good local crew.
Most common spot is henley beach near the mouth of the torrens river.
