If you don't want to see this on all our favourite spots or worse yet go the way of jetskis and have only a few places the first and best thing you can do is JOIN WAKSA.

I am not on the council or part of a membership drive but it seems to me that OUR SPORT will come up against some tough opposition and without a body that has a credible number of members o speak on our behalf we will be treated like hooligans. We will all be mightily pissed off but there will be nothing we can do about it. I can just see John, Ian & Co talking to the Cott council saying they represent the sport in an association with only 100 members (if it is even that)

I hope that everybody who has made a post about this subject is a member and if you are tell your kite buddies. (there seems to be a lot more posts than members) $60 isn't too much to give these guys some firepower to keep the freedom we take for granted but can so easily get taken from us due to the ignorance of others.

so if we had it your way fences, then the south australian kiting association would have to change their name to the southern australian kiting assosiation?? and the south east queensland kiting association would have to change their name as well??
