Hi, I am holidaying in Brisbane for three weeks during February and have some questions regarding the best locations to kite. I am looking at staying by the beach and just sail. What place would you recommend for someone who doesn’t have a vehicle? I have heard that Noosa and Caloundra (river mouth) are really good for consistent wind.

If anyone is interested in doing a road trip during this period, or is heading away to a great kiting destination (weekend) and have some room, I would be more than happy to share expenses and buy some cold ones.

Any recommendations are appreciated. I can be contacted at [email protected]

Thanks in advance.

Your questions have been answered many times, search seabreeze and kiteforum (& google) for: brisbane, gold coast, surfer's paradise, noosa, caloundra, maroochydore etc..

Also see www.traqua.com.au and http://members.optushome.com.au/sataskov/Weather/kbb.htm

We had awesome sessions at Brighton and Wellington point yesterday and the day before... really sweet conditions,10-16m kites..
