Kiting in Northern europe is less predicatable than oz .
Weather is related to fronts coming across the atlantic, west coast of most Northern European countries get wind and swell.
If you are after wind and waves head to Portugal or the canaries/azores (Fuerteventura is best for kiting).
The lakes in Northern Italy (Como & Garda) are a cool alternative to kiting on the sea with daily thermal winds , excellent scenerey, rock climbing , skiing , mountain biking and lots of history.
The summer in the greek islands can also be good with some nuclear winds but not much in the way of waves.
