I want to take a kiting holiday in the next couple of months to somewhere in the south pacific. The criteria are:
1. Good winds
2. Nice environment (for the non-kiting partner)
3. Reasonably economical

Can anyone suggest some destinations?

1. new caledonia, fiji, vanuatu + check my post "where to kite in may/june" in which I was given (thanks!) a whole listing of windy location for different times of the year.
2. Hm... Change partner? (sorry, couldn't resist.... ;-) )
Or if she's happy just looking after her skin cancer, any of the location above will keep her satisfy + nice snorkelling....Or buy some good books at the airport... because Paradise (turquoise water+ 25 knots) is a damn boring place for a non-kitesurfer...
3. Fiji is reasonable (negociate EVERYTHING ahead tho!), NC is fairly expensive (but there's French food everywhere!) and well.... It's all going to depend whether you book at a backpaker or at the Hilton, really....
Send me a private message if NC interests you, I can put you in touch with friends of mine over there.

Enjoy your holiday....
