Your right Niall,
Most of the time it is indeed the travellers who do make a bee line to the place and coming from a country where they generally only have flat water, they seem to get into trouble. Quite often the surgeons table teaches them a quiet lesson and they go away with tail between legs.
I also have had a problem with "Dick" at Margs when my kite went down in the break, I was out of harms way and self rescued to come back in further down the beach before the rocks.
We had a time when three italian kiters turned up, fully sponoed up with all the stickers on the car and all the good gear and they managed to get pasted all over the place, this stirs the poleboarders into a frenzy of abuse and anger, but hey what can you do?
Short of banning everyone, it's hard to tell who can kite it and who can't. It should be open to all, but it just doesn't work that way.
Play by the poleys rules and keep a low profile but shred hard and don't drop your kite. EASY!
