A friend rang me up and told me that his wife had to dodge a kitesurfer on West Coast Highway on Wednesday afternoon at about 5.30.He said it was at the Trigg carpark end. I seem to remember it was blowing pretty hard about then with a big front coming in about then , anyone else hear about it or is it crap.

I'm a beginner-is it OK for me to take out my 18M Rhino2 I bought off eBay and my Naish SkyPirate and practice in my local street-we live in an apartment on George Street, in Sydney? It seems windy outside and I don't really want to have to get my mum to drive me to the beach.

Thanks for any help.

sure but you must first extend the lines to 50 m where the wind is smoother
