Hi Guys/Girls
Has anyone kited in Vietnam (Mui Ne)in early July? What winds are likely - is it worth taking gear and if so what kite size?
Any info greatly appreciated.

Presto, I have just moved from Singapore to Hong Kong, all the Singapore guys go to Vietnam frequently, it works same season as WA, not sure what the wind is like this time of year but. do a search on Yahoo and you will find a great kite school, Vietnam Mui Ne Beach ; there the locals even pump up your kites and lay out your lines. It is very windy, sometimes 8m (35 knots) or get in touch with Jason Chang through www.kite.com.sg he is knowledgeable about kiting all over Asia.
Best of Luck
