I arrive on Cairns on Saturday, i hope that the wind will be greatfull. I planned to go to Lizard Island on September but i would like to go to Green Island too.
Is it possible to kite at Green Island near Cairns. It looks windy and beautiful.
Somebody has already been there?
Thanks

Green Island is most definitely kite-able but it all depends on the tide.
You'll need to get a day with high-tide sometime in the early afternoon, as anything under ~1.1m is going to end badly.
There's a fair few threads about Green Island so perhaps a quick search would help.

I just had two days (2 trips) and it was unreal gusting 40 on Wed and 20>25 today.
Buuuuuuuuut the guy (nice bloke) who has the hire bis there (private) said he is always rescuing kiters, one guy 3 times on same day, it's not his job and he's a little over it

So just a little warning, it can really blow and the island is tiny, but if you know what you are doing and the tides right it's heaven
