I look outside and see that its another perfect kiting day - and would absolutely love to go for a kite!!! If there are any kiting mums or dads out there who are willing to form a mini creche on the beach - please call me. We just came back from a trip to Exmouth where our little girl (3 1/2 months) sat in her pram happily down at the beach whilst kitehard and myself took turns kiting. Call me on 0403779665 if you are keen to work something out! Hopefully there could be a few of us which would make it more enjoyable.

Hey Tina,

We've met a couple of times and B & Fi's place on Thursday dinners.
Anyway, I'm childless but have some kiting mates who have kids.

It's a cool idea and I'll pass it on to them for sure.

If you keep it up with yolur new grub, she'll end up being the next world champ, at 4.5 years old.

Hey Ben,

Thanks for that!!! Pass on my number if you could. Looks like summer is upon us - all we need now is slightly warmer weather!!!

Hi Tina,

We're keen to do this, we have a little 10 month old boy. My wife doesn't kite (yet!), but we're often down at Pinnaroo (mostly during the week) and she's happy to look after any little ones.

Will give you a ring later today.

Cheers

Alex

Thanks Alex!!! Sounds great! It will also be a great way for all the parents and children to meet and play with each other - because I am sure that eventually they will become friends.

Elizabeth - Shan and Nath had a little boy called Taj. He is just gorgeous. Its difficult to tell the difference in sex during the early days in most babies so you generally look for the pink or blue!!!

Gday Tina,
firstly congrats to you and Darren on the lil one. you are definitely onto something with the kite creche, I have 2 boys (1 and 5 yrs)that love the beach and if I can combine taking the kiddies with me to the beach, and I go kiting, itll mean more time on the water for me and relief for my partner. Everybody happy!!! I often kite at Pinnaroo as I live around the corner, so would you be looking at doing something there? Anyway Ill make a few enquiries for babysitters, and see how things pan out.
cheers

Nice work Tina I am sure You and Jen have been working/scheming on this one for some time now??

It so simple though, four sets of parents (8 people) 6 on the water at any one time doing a 20-30 min run then 2 swap over 2 go out means an easy 60 mins plus on the water for everybody

I know of many in our situation now with <1 year bubs

Okey dokey!!! Lets get this together!!

Does everyone want to email me with there info and then we can create an email list. We will have to think of a place that suits all - if you have any suggestions - or we could rotate? I thought the park south Brighton as it is central - and there is a cafe there as well. Pinaroo point is also an option as it is suited to those mums that are not as confident in the waves and sweep. Gav - we could all take turns to babysit the children. Any suggestions are helpful.

My email address is [email protected] and number is 0403779665.
