Im off to work in Darwin for a few weeks from tomorrow. Does any one know if they kite up there??? I know they dont mind a sip, but I'd love to get a kite in when Im there. Maybe even use a croc as a kicker

Yeah there are a few kiters up here in Darwin, Casuarina Beach (near the Surf life svaing club)and Lee pt beach and possibly Nightcliff beach are the places to go. Wide sandy beaches. Crocs are around but very rare. Stinger suit is a must this time of year. Worth bringing your gear up if the wind is on. NNW winds are good for Casuarina beach. Few kiters out yesterday - wind range 10-16knts (20 in gusts)

If your in town you can also kite out of the casino beach, but if you got a car head over to rapid creek theres a rocky point there, catch up with rob and worren and have beer with the boys. top guys and rip for some old dudes
