Hey there northern kiters... is there or is there not, any danger of stingers around Yeppoon this time of year? One local has said no, but I'm wondering if they are in denial...

Before I moved to WA I lived in Yeppoon/Rockhampton for 8 years. Windsurfed all year round with no problems. There are a few blue bottles, but they don't do much damage.
