Hello!
My names brendan and I kitesurf in england, Ive travelled down the east coast and i'm hopefully going to stay put in brisbane for a while, Ive got 1 kite with me and my harness & leash (north vegas 9m) but no board!
a) is there anywhere in or near brisbane where people kite?
b) can I rent a board from somewhere, or any kiteshops near?
Any help greatly appreciated! thanks!

I know some but you'd get better advice off someone up there. I suggest you post on the seqka site or pm Padi from surf connect on here. he is at sandgate an very helpful.

I agree with the other post, Padi is very helpful and will look after you. A great bunch of kiters at Sandgate where he is, very friendly group and willing to help their fellow kiters. It is flat water though, well with some chop, but it is definitely not surf. Excellent area to kite.

Sounds great, Im not into surf so flat water is great! Back home we dont really get either and it'll be nice to kite on sand rather than rockpools!
