Last time I went for a kite I noticed I had a Knot in one of my lines.I couldnt get it out without using my teeth or something sharp and I didnt want to weaken the line so I left it .Can anyone tell me if this will have more chance of snapping or do I just leave it?

It does weaken it, at least by half - take your time with the knot keep working it and try to break the back of it. Eventually it will come out.

Definitely weakens your lines and should be removed or lines replaced.

Soaking it in water for awhile and gently chewing it with your teeth works - it does take time to get knots out though.

Also highlights the importance of pre-flight checks.

yep it weakens your lines. But I've had a knot in my lines for a year now with no worries. I've broken a few pig tails but my knotted line has survived.

Try to get it out but don't weaken the string by cutting it accidently. If you can't get it out, and you aren't going to replace it, you could use it as one of the less powered up lines of your kite, which depends on what model you have.

Many modern inflatables (naish x2, x3, rrd supertype, airush lift, gaastra gxr, pheonix, etc) give most of their pull down the center lines, so put the bad line on the back, or outside lines.

Obviously in the interests of safety you should get it out or replaced... but I haven't.
