Three cheers to the tool who kited through the lineup during the final of the Whalebone Classic today. Red and white kite. Ozone I think.
You drew a lot of admiring comments from the crew watching the surfing, including from the guys on the PA. Lots of confused non-kiters wondering why a kite would choose to cruise through the middle of Cott's biggest annual surf event. Perhaps you didn't notice all the flags and wotnot on the beach.

Yeah i saw the guy.
He insisted on coming as close as he possibly could whenever he could to me. PITA having to fly the kite high all the time to accomadate him.
I was there today flying an Ozone but didnt go anywhere near the contest - why would you? my love was a little further out and a little further south. :P
Also a bit of carnage later in the day when a Rebel ended up on the gryne near the windsurfers launch. Heard it pop from the peanut gallery.
Wasn't it a great day tho
So nice to be riding forehand for a change.
