The first and only Love-in held 1999 Anna BayStockton Beach was one of the best and most rememberable weekends ive had in 7 years of kitesurfing.Ohh the memories!! Day 1 NE wind not much to hit the water but perfect for the sand,anything was the go. Kitebuggys,sandboards,dirtsurfers pretty much anything that would suit a kite,what fun!! Day 2 Stockton Beach SE 25knts plus and a real hoot to body drag and watch the more experienced guys showing us newbies how its done.Some famous names and some not so hanging around that weekend Ian Young,Steve Mc Cormack,Kane Hartill,Tim Lewis,Lachlan Deed,Ben Murkinhoff,Gregg Jowett,Alew Sanz,A very young Dave and Peace from Kitepower and many more.If you had an inflateable you were king,but the real king was Kane the mad Kiwi showing us Aussies how its done with a C-Quad.Wouldnt it be great to have a Retro weekend and catchup with all these guys?

howzit.yep thems were the days , DT's doin his best to set world speed records that would make Ken warby cry down at Sandy point/beach (whatever the spot where you go really fast in Vic)
Sounds like a great place for a kitesports fest /'love in" rehash.Recently visited the area and mornington peninsula .Wicked spots .
Ire ckon next summer some time .my kids are old enough now to be babysitters for the kids of the young fresh faces back in 99.
