can anyone tell me if lancelin is a good spot for a begginer or is it 2 busy?Is it less chopy for a newbi.Cheers.

I seem to find that the wind can often be very slightly offshore. Thats all you should really worry about. Don't jump/fall off near shallow reef, and don't rig up/launch on the grassed area, walk to the point.
It isn't very busy, but on a good day, or a summer weekend it can get busy. There are also A LOT of windsurfers.
