Yes, landboarding is a great light wind option.

Definitely worth it. Can probably find a second hand board for around 300. Brand new boards go for a bit more, check out kitepower website.

You can learn so much by landboarding. Even if you are quite experienced, i guarantee you will become more experienced using the kite. Try flying inland and see how you go controlling the power, great practise for kitesurfing when it's gusty.

Cheers

Yes, i landboard when its light winds, its awsome for your kite skills, but we use foils insted of our inflateables. oh and it hurts more when you crash! So we use full face helmets, shin/knee guards and elbow guards

yer its great fun but its a bit of a novelty and is nothing like kitting... and i found that if the wind was slightly blowing would try to go for a kite any way so never really got out in good winds as such. carve boards will be to loose better off with a mountain board u will have more fun with it.there are some cheap ones out there keep an eye out on ebay as well. sold mine for 220 and was like new and a good one. wouldnt worry about kites just have a friend with u i used a 13impact and torchs most of the time.
