Have you had any lessons flysurfer?
Are you flying an inflatable kite?
If you are flying an inflatable kite you can land the kite using the kite safety leash. There is another technique you can use in light winds but it is risky and I would not try to tell you here you ned to be shown and understand the risks.
Using the leash is the best way for sure.
Where are you trying to learn to kite on the North side.?
