Can anyone tell me the ideal spot for beginners around brisbane and the gold coast Im looking at getting back out again this summer after having lessons at lennox heads during summer last year. Ideal spot would be semi flat water good wind and plenty of space.

There are about 8 operators doing lessons in Brisbane and about 3-4 down at the gold coast.
Head to Wellington Point or Brighton.

Make sure you checkout www.seqka.com.au

Spots include Brighton, Wellington Point, Redcliffe (altohugh watch out for the Stone fish) and then head to Caloundra and I'm sure some of the Gold Coast guys will tell you about the spots down there.
