Nice move guys after a letter like that you need to take some protective action. Some of the local pollies and 'vocal locals' can be a little unpredictable down there (to put it mildly!), I remember from when we lived at Myocum for a coupla years. Starting a club gives you a voice and a little political power, which is better than none.

Don't quote me, check it out thoroughly, but I believe that when you have a club and members pay club fees to join AKSA thru the club then it costs the same as joining directly but half of the membership fees stay with the club, giving you some capital for voluntary signage or whatever. Check it out!

You guys should work out the best spots for your main wind directions, not the main swimming beaches obviously (they seem pretty sheltered anyway?) Then you'd be able to nominate some kitebeaches to fight over.. if it comes to that!

There's plenty of surf breaks, but is there any flat water to be had round there?

/ps flat rock scared the hell out of me a while back and nearly ate my board too, but I reckon it would be an awesome spot with the right conditions!

Smashing event, with a response to our invitation including 36 names of which a 1/3 are girls. Local superstars, international guests and models(including the occasional stuntman) made the night to remember. The band and Dj's pumped it hard, as so did the hardcore crew, who are always ready for action. Thanks to all those present
and we will keep you posted with current updates.

What about Brocky? Has he seen the light yet or is it a case of can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Yeah, Brocky hasn't been sighted on a kiteboard yet, but I reckon he'll come over.
