For reasons unknown to me, my bar has lighter pressure on one side. The turning is quicker on the opposite side. When my kite is at 12, my bar is horizontal, so i assume my steering lines are ok. I checked all five kite lines, they are all exactly the same length, again i assume it has something to do with the kite, bridles, or pig tails.
The kite has taken a reasonable beating in the surf of late but i cannot see any visible damage.
Can any one give possible explanations?

siezed pulley? uneven bridal lengths and bladder twists usually result in a kite that pulls to one side.

Is it a North 2013 kite? A lot of them are turning one direction more than the other.

I guess that's what happens when you make one side of the kite out of a different fabric to the other .

2012 North Fuse...it has only been noticeable since last week, had the kite for a few months now.

Just get a tape measure and chech your bridal lines... Individually comparing each line length on both sides.

Next - check the bar line lengths...Mass production has a small percentage of error..

Your bar being horizontal can be deceiving, a tiny bit at the bar can be an inch n a half at the top..
