And, prior to race day, week commencing Monday 10th December, an up to the minute Race Manual will be available for download from the L2L website.
L2L thanks for the update; any chance of making the race manual available sooner? The start sequence takes a bit to get your head around especially if you're not used to sailing race starts and to give us 5 days to digest is cutting it a bit fine.
The start sequence is as follows, as per last year.
The race manual goes out on the Monday, so as to keep it exactly up to date with race info etc., etc.
If in doubt, dont start until you see the green flag go up!
Can you make sure this year there isnt a second REDBULL flag still up on a boat nearby, if you are in a certain area and develop tunnel vision 10min before the race, it may look like its still up
Ray - perhaps you should add that the start sequence includes a rule that you dont cross the start line till it goes green !!!! Might save a bit of havoc.
And could I add.... "if you disconnect someones lines on the beach to clean up ur own set-up & launch it would be nice if you reconnect them" Chasing the field is not a good way to go.

Yep, this did not affect me but I did hear a couple of people mention the same thing, apparently there was a support boat a little to the South of the start boat that was flying a red bull flag.
