I was out Pinnaroo Pt yesterday trying the new board I bought from Duane when a line snapped on my flysurfer. Came spinning down and I was stuck at least 500m out, trying to self rescue holding the bridle lines but had half the kite in the water as it filled up while I wrapped up the lines on the bar (It is scary with all the lines loose in the water). Already considering to give up the kite as the wind was straight southerly. A windsurfer came up to me and managed to tow me out with all gear (kite packed up on the board, leash tied to footstrap).
