hi guys,

Not many guys riding LF in the area I have been kiting in lately. I am leaning towards Influence however have not seen one in action. I am still pretty open to any brand apart from cabrinah, here is what I am after.

- 132-136
- Riding with bindings
- Good pop without sticking to the water too much
- very small fins.
- Lighter the better
- solid construction.

Cheers and thanks in advance.

btw does anyone know a LF dealer in Brisbane/ Gold Coast/ Sunny coast?

Hi mate,

the LF are great boards, especially for boots.
You should also try the Xenon INFRA which is lighter than the LF boards.
Andy Yates rides the INFRA now. They are good for both boots and straps.

you can demo them at kitethrills on sunnie coast or with intheloop on goldcoast.

Also check out the Vanhunks Manakel sick board as well.

hey james, 132-136 is a very small board to ride with boots (unless you're jockey sized). and i believe lighter is not necessarily better. a bit of weight in the board helps with stability and momentum in many tricks, especially off-axis.

What would you recommend stamp? I have always rode a 132 with boots out of habbit i guess. 140 just seems so big!

In the Loop can you please PM me your number do you stock the Xenon INFRA ?

cheers and thanks for the responses.

LF DLX?
It's solid build, has a good pop, small fins and channels so you can ride it without fins and it's made for boots.

Size depends on your weight, I'm around 85kg and ride a DLX142.
I swapped my Cab Custom for a DLX and the DLX seems much more precise a gets going much easier in lighter conditions and the pop seems to be better too.

If you ride mainly in boots and assuming your somewhere between 75-85, I'd go for about 140 size.

132 does seem a bit small for boots though.

hey james, i can't comment on the new boards. i rarely ride the twintip these days and am still happy on my 08 liquid force mission with synergies.
jev is on the money with sizing though.

They are a wicked board and hell sexy!

You won't regret LF for sure. :)
