Anyone had any problems with litewave boards???

I broke mine the other day (3 months old), snapped it under my foot when i slashed a wave... What the.

Anyway my friendly supplier advised me by email today that i would not be able to get warranty on the board because it looked to damaged, fins worn from sand in shallow water, bit of a ding on the end where it snapped.

But thats kite boarding, ive been on the snow a bit and broken gear from using it too much, it takes years of constant use to get total failure, they take a canning before they do. I didn't smash it so hard to break it on a rock or anything. Ahh

I'm just totally amazed that it would fail like that. Especially the price they charge.

I don't know if i should be naming names yet, i'm going to try with the manufacturer first. But i wont be making the same mistake again, i'm going for a really solid board. Something unsmashable.

That right, I couldn't seem to find any conditions on there either.

I also believe that i didn't even once run it over with the car, although I can see how thats a handy feature.... i think

Your right on the money cassie, I've been riding the crazy fly boards for years. full carbon. never had any problems with the build strength, and they're great fun to ride.
I must say i've never ridden the lightwave but sounds like you probably got a dodgy one Manic, chase that warranty hard m8! good luck.
