Looking for a place to do some kitesurfing in May, June time frame. Can some suggest a place that has on average 20knots everyday? Also, it needs to be cheap (accomodation + food) so Europe is out of the question. I dont mind paying to get there but not to keen to pay $100US/night to sleep.

i was thinking thailand, any1 know of good spots and the average wind conditons?

Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

I think the season in Vietnam is Nov-Apr.

FNQ is the go in Australia at that time apparently.

Go to www.windguru.com Top spots on the left hand colomn. Then type in the dates you are going, and the windiest places will be listed from strongest to weakest.

Cairns, Port Douglas and Cooktown are the best bet !

Last year I was there in June and it was 18knots - 27knots all day everyday
