Hello,

I bought my self a foil kite... ( Peter Lynn 18m)

I got 4 years experience with regular kites. but Zero exp with foil kites.

Is there someone out there that want to spend 1 hour to teach me the launch and landing steps.

Youtube tells me a fair amount... but I would love to meet someone who like to help me out for a few minutes.

Perhaps do a few sessions together in the near future?

Location Perth beaches.

I am willing to pay if necessary.

Regards
Josh

Charger 2? Be interested to see what a non-foil nutter thinks of it...

Awesome purchase. Did you buy it new?

18mt will get you flying for sure.

Please let us know how you go and what the kite is like. I am assuming it's a PL Phantom?

Love foils. They rule.

My first kite was a Peter Lynn F-arc.

They have a lot of lift and power for size, but geez it was a handful for learning.

I now use foils for snowkiting, ozone frenzy's. And it's awesome how light and small they are when packed up...

might buy a chrono at some stage, they look sweet for light wind.

But I am holding off for a year, hoping for a well developed and high performance NASA WING design to hit the market.

Good luck with for huge and **** 18m foil, be safe, that thing could get you in all sorts of trouble.

Go to ozone kites Chrono kite foil page and watch videos they have all you need to know about a foil kite - I taught myself from these videos - pretty simple you just need to talk your time for the 1st few sessions then easy as.

The PL Charger is nothing like an Ozone Chrono, they are both awesome machines in their own niche but have nothing in-common other than twin-skinned ram-air inflated.

I've been flying both the 8m and 22.5m PL Charger 2's for over a year now and am happy to give you some advice if required? Have a look at my (small) profile posts and you'll see a vid of my 22.5 in action.

Cheers.
