Had a great session at Longy this morning, decent size swell and not too messy on the bomie. Wish I could have stayed all day!

Thought I saw your kite out there Gav, I had to look on with jealousy from the bus at you and the others had fun.

Very gusty over at Dolls, I think it might be better up towards Brighton, and the tide is wrong now anyway, so it will be better away from the river.
There are 2 guys over at Dolls, keep getting spanked and teabagged on a 7M Waroo 07, mainly because they are unhooking and then getting up too much speed.
Chop is about a M high too!!

I saw a water spout/water wind devil, race across Botany Bay before midday, at first I thought it was a boat, but no boat could go that fast in those conditions, well not a boat whose hull I could not see. Would not want to get caught in one of those, they seem to be common over Kurnell/Laperouse way?

SSmoking at Wanda.7m would have been great. The surf will come up pretty solid by tomorrow

Gusty was the word down at brighton man! Still good to get wet nonetheless.

Had the best surf session for years on North Side of the Reef yesterday! Surf was up about 6feet on the inside, kept reforming too. Had to time some rather large bommies infront of the reef on the way over which was a bit of a rush, and on the way back, climbing over the rocks was a bit of a challenge.

It was pretty offshore on the north side and thank god for minimum pull from the Griffin at full depower, as I wouldn't have been able to get up on the beach without it. Hopped over and did some rock hopping in the shallows before being able to make a line back to Longy. Result - one cut toe but a big grin.
