Found this while cleaning up my hard drive and figured it deserved sharing... To set the scene:

The year is 2003, and I am experiencing the heady joy of untangling the not 2, but FOUR lines on my brand new kite which has done a hindenburg, as was the style of kiting at the time. Meanwhile, my supportive buddy thought he would use this opportunity to soar gracefully over me.

At least that was his plan. All i heard was "duck!"..."DUCK!".... "DUUUUUCK!"

I figured that bird must be pretty close and went to ground. Maybe I've talked it up a bit, but i swear that board nicked my temple.

I was only thinking the other day, 'Hindenburg' is a term not heard much in the last a couple of years.
It used to be that every second kitemare involved a Hindenburg.
I felt the wind rush past my ear just watching that.

Each to their own, ducks have their quirks, but have you tried using a bottle reared calf?
Now there's a good sucker!
