Why is the whole online forum world getting mixed up between 'lose' and 'Loose'???

The number of times I have seen numpties saying they hate loosing their kite, loosing their mind...

If something is loose it needs tightening.

Ahhhhhhemmm, there's a couple of things that are already tight, I was kinda hoping a loose woman might help me lose the tightedness. Loosen me up, if ya get me drift.
