Hi Peeps,

Just the other day we took in a harness that had been found by Paul at Brighton in to the shop for safe keeping and return to it's owner. The owner got it back a day or so later.

I'd like to offer my shop as a place that can be used to hold gear for people who have lost or found gear. We are so close to the beach and the likelyhood of the owner coming back to the same beach the next day is high.

If you find some gear, drop it in during busines hours or just throw it over the little fence into the courtyard area by the front entry door (via carpark) so I find it in the morning and can take it in. I'll place an ad on Seabreeze lost and found and with any sort of luck, we can have gear back to people within 24hrs. For larger items like boards, you can open the blue gate and place the board inconspicuously by the letterbox out of view of the GP and back packers. No one enters the courtyard after closing so it's all good and it's monitered by us with 24hr video surveilance.

We offer the same service at Pinnaroo and works a treat.

Cheers,

DM

Hey Bingles,

That would be nice but it's not about the beers. (Can't believe i just said that ) I was offered $20 by the owner when his mate dropped in to pick up the harness. I knocked it back. It's a karma thing man! You know, do unto others ...... yarda yarda yarda!

Besides, I didn't find the harness, just gave it a wash, brought it into the shop and held it for pickup.

Funny how the universe works. A good customer dropped in today to replace his recently purchased 7m Core kite which was stolen on the weekend from his car. Now this customer has just had a bunch of heavy stuff to deal with and came out the other side smiling, I reckon he deserved a bit more good karma and so gave him a crazy price to return a little good karma to him. This in turn set about another unrelated turn of events where another customer sent an email this morning saying he was absolutely stoked on his recent new kite purchase which gave me a bunch of good feeling and good karma.

We're all connected, and karma works it's way throughout the universe if you help it on it's way and are open to looking for it.

Seen too much to not believe in it. Pay it forward people, share the goodness!
