Unless you plan on making a jig (which will come in handy later on anyway if you want to make more of your own boards), you can soak the ply 10-15mm (after you have cut the board shape out obviously), it's best to get marine ply (as it bends a lot easier and the flex stays) in a bath or some mass of warm water for about 3-5 hours. Put the ends of the board stacked up on bricks or something about 30cm off the ground, and place a weight on the middle of the board (like bricks, concrete etc.-in moderation obviously)- Let it sit like this in the heat of the sun to for either a few hours, or until it has bent to the flex you want it too, and until the marine ply has dried. After it has dried, you can then power sand rails in (depending on how tech. you want to go), and then coat with either polyurethane or a good quality epoxy

also if anyone has old footstraps/pads?
With regards to this, Liquid Force sell brand new board ahndles for $15, Flat foot pads for $19, and then scre in then straps for $49. If the screw goes all the way thu to the bottom of the board, before putting the coat on the bottom, file them off with an angle grinder.
Good luck mate
