So, before I have even had a chance to play with my (early) Christmas present, like the overgrown kid that I am I have lost a vital piece.

Does anyone know if you can buy the black clip that clamps the gopro waterproof housing closed? And where u can buy it from? Its a HD surf hero one if that makes any difference. Seems kinda silly that it can be removed entirely. But anyway, I put it in a safe place, and no doubt in six to eight months I will remember where it is.

Any advice welcome because I can't wait to get out over Christmas and take lots of wobbly unattractive photos of myself getting used to my new strapless board

I just had a look on their web site and they don't list it, but I do remember they were replacing some that got broken so give them a yell gopro.com/en/au/ I doubt any one has it as a part in Aus if GoPro don't list them but who knows.

At worst you'll have to get a new housing from Seabreeze @ $60 www.seabreeze.com.au/Shop/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=49

Cheers Uncle Bob

Hi Ezza,

A new housing is $59.95. Talk to the shop you bought it from, I'm sure they can order you one, maybe even before christmas if you are nice to them

Fun toy eh? So many different mounts to get the creative juices flowing.

Regards,

DM

Hey Ezza, Let me know if you can't find a replacement clip -- if you get in a pinch I have one from my spare parts bin that came off a housing that got smashed last year and subsequently replaced. FYI, min is from a NON-HD housing. Not sure if it's different from the HD version.

Onya Rob .. just physically compared the new & old housings, and whilst the clear plastic case is bigger, then clip looks identical, which is a good idea! So yes, it should fit.

else.. yes.. we can Express Post a new case to you ..

Hey Rob, that would be awesome, let me know how much you want for it :)
I don't really want to have to buy a whole new housing if I don't have to!
You're a champ

merry Christmas
