Hey Guys
I have recently just traded in my Spectrum 2 for a 12 M80. I find the the kite rides fine when u are hooked in. Once you unhook on it flys like ****, it seems to pull towards the top of the window as soon as you unhook! I am not sure what the go is..... maybe fifth line too loose. If anyne has any ideas it would be great.

prob just ur line lengths.
mine flies fine unhooked or hooked in, but if it is oversheeted too much then it goes backwards and slows.
so cant have the back lines too short.
but yeh also adjust the 5th line so it when you pull on it when the kite is overhead hooked in you have about 1-2 inches of slack before you see the kite start to go flat in the middle.
so not too tight, but not too loose.
if it is too tight you will know as the kite will have no power in it.

Shortening the back lines will only make the oversheeting worse!

I found fifth line too loose and the steering was all over the place like an african taxi driver. I put it on the middle knot instead of the longest and it was fine after that.

I've heard rumours of the strut seams letting go after a while. Mine is still pretty new but I can already see the stitching starting to pull, I don't think they quite got the panel shapes right on the design. I'm thinking of painting a bit of reinforcing goo on the seams now before they blow if I can work out the right sort. Prevention is better than cure you know. Anyone got any ideas? It's a 16m though, it will probably go into storage once I get back to Perth and never see the light of day again
