Sat avo now.
Covers were brought out at lunchtime when strong(ish) direct onshore of the morning brought in the rain & flattened the wind. Previous to that thunder & lightening kept all sensible riders onshore as those reckless enough had variably shocking experiences

with static arcing from bars to hands & producing audible cracks from board to water as jumps were landed (scary shyte). Subsequent wind drop-out to zilch cancelled all heats for the whole day

.
Dunno what the official word is for tomorrow.
Thursday

cant remember a whole lot about day 1

. All a bit of a blur

. Praps someone may like to fill my gap here.
Friday - cross/cross-off kept judging area busy all day. 00's of kites and a fair swell running. Pretty tough conditions I thought but theres some hotshot kiters here (WOW

) who obviously breezed through it with ease. Downwinders to Pambula river mouth were popular. Awesome spot down there - unique, picturesque, blah blah blah - just awesome. A must see stop for anyone passing anytime.
TOP ORGANISATION - full marks to the hosts - no doubting why this event is so highly rated right round Oz & beyond.
pre-party drinks now - then onto pre-pub party - then the pub - Aaaaagh its tough schedule but wot can u do

.
PsYlors cookin us up a batch of his famous pumpkin scones (apparently he taught Flo

) & I would just like to say that Paulios Nan has been very much mismaligned on this forum. We are getting on famously. I am finding the incontinence more than easily managed & the jumbled loud ramblings up & down the street is acceptable when theres 2 of us doing it together. Its all good
