Want to go to my mates surfboard factory and make a fibreglass board. How do these compare with carbon fibre or wooden boards or any of the other new material that are used. What are the problems with using surfboard material? Any good ideas for foot straps too would help.

It will be heavy and will most probably break if glass only is used. For footstraps wide webbing.

Hey Shabu

I have made several of each now. What style of board are you making? Some boards require stiffness and others more flex to work effectively, so let me know if you are doing a wave board, twinnie or mutant, and also where you wish to ride the board. Also let me know your weight.

Cheers
