On Monday, Martin Vari, Jeff Tobias and Ben Wilson were set to fly to WA for 2 months of big wave riding. they had just got back from Tassie when their Tassie contact called and said "Git 'ere!" apparently huge waves and great breeze. They have a film crew on tow and are searching out the best conditions. If you wnat to meet these guys and get stoked about Kiting on waves get into Pelican Point store this Thursday afternoon. After which we might con the guys into a bit of a display to rev us all up!!
I will keep you posted if they are delayed by the Tassie monsters!

I suppose we better get some food in too!
Jester mini pies sound good cos I can't be $#@ed getting gas for the barbie... although maybe Justin could supply gas as he seems to have a fair bit at the moment.
Anyway I just have to step out for some fresh air see you on Thursday or Friday or when the Gurus appear.

C Ya

Ian,
Why give me all the credit when your talent far exeeds mine?

As some of us know, when Ian is in the thunder box to expect strange creature like sounds followed by a woft like no other... and then an attempt to mask it with half a can of air freshener! Talk about a DOUBLE dose. When hes'on fire you will find him quite considerate and he will go home and release his weapons of mass destruction there...

Talented one No2. Justin...

Sounds like just another publicity stunt for slingshot mag^#*&, whoops i meant kiteboarder magazine to fill their pages with after their paltry write up of the nationals due to their poor results at said event.

So does anybody know if these guys are going to come to Sydney?? It´d be mad to see Vari and Tobias ride.

I've read some bad magazines in my time, but NEVER anything as jounalistically pathetic and imbecile as Kiteboarder. Totally useless on a practical level, big on pimply, testosterone-drenched, homophobic, middle class, spoilt brat, fake rebel spin doctoring...

Accordingly, I'm definitely not interested in meeting any of those guys. Thanks anyhow
Bo

Hey Bo,

So just what is it you are trying to say about the mag? Just stop beating around the bush and spell it out man

And what have you got against sitting around with a bunch of guys who share similar passion and throwing down a couple of luke warm glasses of your own p%#s.

Good winds

Sorry, couldn't resist

If Kiteboarder magazine is alleged to be the gutter tabloid of kitesurfing, then which mag is the high-brow broadsheet version for the wind snobs?
