" if you do bring your gear , it will be 13- 16knots "
" if you do bring your gear and have to pay excess baggage there will be no wind at all "

Seriously the forcast looks ok for Friday ( 15- 25 late afternon ) and prob Sat.
Bring your gear mate like I said "if you dont it will be alltime"

Need to add one more to that...

"if you bring your gear, and you have a new board or kite you want to try it, there will be no wind in Melbourne, but perfect wind in NSW, and it won't blow for 2 weeks when you get back"

No don't bring the gear... you'll ruin it for us locals

i asked the same question the sunshine coast guys a month ago... and as the potter said, i even had to pay for excess luggage... and as expected there was no wind during the entire week i spent there.
